The obverse design visible on the end coin features the portrait of John Adams, the 2nd US President. These coins are composed of a manganese-brass clad copper. The roll is encased in a white paper wrapper with red striped ends, printed with $25.00 Dollars, John Adams, and the manufacturer N.F. String & Son, Inc., Harrisburg, PA., U.S.A. Edge lettering, which includes the date and mint mark, is not visible while the coins remain in the wrapper.
