Description
A vintage painted cast iron doorstop depicting a caricature of a golfer in a putting stance. The figure is modeled with an oversized head and wears a patterned flat cap, a vibrant red jacket, brown knickers, and grey-blue stockings. The golfer is mounted on a semi-circular base finished in green paint with a textured surface representing grass, featuring a small white golf ball. The item is manufactured using a hollow-back casting method. A small circular mark containing the number 8 is cast into the reverse of the golfer’s torso.
