Description

This group consists of US Winged Liberty Head dimes, popularly known as Mercury dimes (KM# 140). Each coin is struck in 90% silver and 10% copper. The assembly includes specimens with visible dates of 1937, 1941, 1942, 1943, 1944, and 1945. A 1942 specimen is identified with an S mint mark for the San Francisco Mint on the reverse. These coins feature the standard Winged Liberty Head obverse and fasces reverse designs. These dates are generally common issues with high mintage figures typical of late series production.
