Description

A trio of United States 25-cent silver coins consisting of two Barber quarters and one Washington quarter. The coins are composed of 90% silver and 10% copper. Included is a 1905 Barber quarter (Philadelphia), a 1909 Barber quarter from the New Orleans Mint (O mint mark), and a 1948 Washington quarter from the San Francisco Mint (S mint mark). The Barber design, by Charles E. Barber, features a classical Liberty head on the obverse and a heraldic eagle on the reverse. The Washington design, by John Flanagan, features the portrait of the first US president on the obverse and a spread-winged eagle on the reverse. Each coin is housed in an individual cardboard flip with handwritten notations.
