Description
This 1964 CA 1-cent coin is composed of a white-colored metal, indicating a plated finish over the standard bronze composition. The obverse features the Laureate Head type of Queen Elizabeth II with the legend ELIZABETH II DEI GRATIA REGINA. The reverse displays the maple leaf design with the inscriptions 1 CENT, 1964, and CANADA, and includes the designer initials KG. The piece is holed at the 9 o’clock position on the obverse.
