Description
This US 1923 Peace silver dollar was designed by Anthony de Francisci. The coin features a Peace type Lady Liberty obverse and a Peace type eagle reverse. There is no mint mark present on the reverse, indicating production at the Philadelphia Mint. The piece is composed of 90 percent silver and 10 percent copper. The 1923 Philadelphia issue is one of the most common dates in the series with a total mintage of 30,800,000.
