Description
This lot consists of two large-format Budweiser brand advertising signs constructed from metal.
The first sign is a regional promotional piece for the Mississippi market with a holiday theme. It features a bright red background with a white silhouette of the state of Mississippi in the center. A Budweiser label graphic is overlaid on the state map, accompanied by two cartoon-style reindeer in harnesses leaping over the top. The sign is lettered with the Budweiser script logo and the slogan THIS BUD’S FOR YOU, MISSISSIPPI. in white block letters at the bottom left. The reverse side of this sign is painted a solid bright blue.
The second sign is an embossed metal advertisement featuring a red background. The left side depicts a graphic of three Budweiser cans nestled in a bed of ice. The right side features large-scale branding with the word Bud in raised white sans-serif lettering and KING OF BEERS in white block letters stacked vertically. The lettering and the can graphics are embossed from the surface. The back of this sign is unpainted, showing the reverse of the embossed design. Both signs include pre-drilled holes at the corners for mounting.
