Description

A pair of US Mercury dimes struck in 90% silver. This lot includes one specimen dated 1942 from the Philadelphia Mint and one specimen dated 1943 from the Denver Mint, the latter featuring a D mint mark on the reverse. Both coins utilize the Winged Liberty Head obverse and the fasces and olive branch reverse design. The specimens are housed in individual 2×2 cardboard and film flips with handwritten notations for date, mint mark, and silver composition.
