Lot 60:
Description
This is a large-sized disc water pitcher from the Fiesta line, manufactured by the Homer Laughlin China Company. The piece is constructed from glazed earthenware and features a circular, disc-shaped body with an integrated handle and an arched spout. The design is accented by molded concentric rings, a signature element of the Fiesta line designed by Frederick Hurten Rhead. The glaze is a bright orange-red, identified through web consensus as the Persimmon colorway, which was introduced in 1995 and later retired. The underside of the base features an impressed circular mark with the script word fiesta above MADE IN U.S.A. and a centered mold mark letter H.
