Description
This 2001 US One Dollar American Silver Eagle bullion coin is struck in one ounce of .999 fine silver. The obverse features the Walking Liberty design with inscriptions for LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, and the date 2001. The reverse features a heraldic eagle design beneath thirteen stars, with the inscriptions UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and 1 OZ. FINE SILVER~ONE DOLLAR. The ribbon held by the eagle bears the legend E PLURIBUS UNUM. This specimen does not bear a mint mark, identifying it as a standard bullion issue. The coin is housed in a clear plastic protective capsule with a black foam insert.
