Description
A square canister or cookie jar with a matching lid manufactured by the Federal Glass Company in the Madrid pattern, produced between 1932 and 1939. The item is made of transparent amber pressed glass. The body features rounded corners and is decorated with an ornate molded design of scrolling swags and a central medallion with a lattice or net-like interior. The matching lid includes the same decorative pattern and is topped with a solid round glass finial. No maker’s marks or signatures are present on the jar or lid.
