Description
This amber-colored Depression-era glass covered biscuit jar is in the Sharon pattern, also known as Cabbage Rose. Produced by the Federal Glass Company of Columbus, Ohio, circa 1935 to 1939, the jar features an octagonal form with scalloped edges. The matching lid is finished with a multi-faceted finial. The design includes molded, stylized roses and foliage on the side panels and lid. The piece is made of transparent golden-amber glass. As is standard for this manufacturer, the base is unmarked.
