Description
A vintage two piece covered animal dish manufactured by the Westmoreland Specialty Company. The item is crafted from opaque white milk glass. The set consists of a lid molded in the form of a rooster with detailed feathering and a fanned tail, and an oval base. The base features wide vertical ribbing or fluting on the exterior and a scalloped, beaded rim. The underside of the base has a molded radial sunburst pattern. No maker marks are visible on the interior or exterior surfaces.
