Description
A set of American-made glazed earthenware dinnerware finished in a solid vibrant red glaze, identified as the Scarlet colorway. The collection consists of a square dinner plate with rounded corners, a circular salad plate, and a deep round bowl. Each piece is decorated with the pattern’s signature molded concentric rings around the rim and in the center wells. All three items feature a white, unglazed foot ring.
The base of the square plate bears a circular black printed mark reading LAUGHLIN CHINA CO. in an arc above a stylized script Fiesta logo with a registration mark, followed by MADE IN USA and a partially illegible three-character production code (photo 4). The round plate base features a circular black printed mark reading HOMER LAUGHLIN CHINA CO. in the top arc, with the stylized script Fiesta logo in the center, followed by two lines reading MADE IN USA and the production code DDS (photo 6). The base of the bowl is impressed under the glaze with a lowercase script mark reading fiesta followed by a registration mark, two concentric arcs, and the letters HLC USA (photo 8).
