Description
A low-profile ceramic bowl featuring a deep cobalt blue glaze on the interior and the exterior base. The wide, flared rim is decorated with a molded relief band of cream-colored stylized flowers and leaves set against a variegated blue-green ground. The underside of the rim is unglazed, revealing the buff-colored bisque clay body. The base is finished in a uniform cobalt blue glaze. Centrally located on the underside is an impressed circular mark featuring a monogram of the letters RP back-to-back surrounded by fourteen stylized flame shapes, positioned above the Roman numerals XXVI and the shape number 2107. The monogram and numerals are not legible as a spelled name. A rectangular blue adhesive label is affixed to the center of the interior well.
