Description
This Savage Axis is a bolt-action sporting rifle chambered in .270 Winchester, designed as a durable and functional hunting platform. The firearm features a 22-inch barrel with a matte black finish, matched to a similarly finished receiver. It is mounted in a tan polymer stock with textured grip sections, an integrated trigger guard, and the Axis model name molded into the forend. The rifle is equipped with a Bushnell Banner Dusk and Dawn series optic on a two-piece mount, and includes a padded camouflage-patterned sling and lens caps. Verbatim markings on the barrel include SAVAGE AXIS 270 WIN CALIBER — BEFORE USE READ & SAVAGE ARMS INC. WESTFIELD, MA 01085 USA UNDERSTAND OWNER’S MANUAL. The bolt body is stamped with the Savage name and logo, and the receiver bears the serial number P697473. The buttstock features a red Savage logo medallion and a black rubber recoil pad.
