Description
This 2019-S US quarter dollar commemorates American Memorial Park in the Northern Mariana Islands as part of the America the Beautiful Quarters series. Struck at the San Francisco Mint, the coin is composed of .999 fine silver with a proof finish. The obverse features the George Washington design with the S mint mark, and the reverse depicts the American Memorial Park design. It is professionally encapsulated and graded by NGC as PF 69 ULTRA CAMEO with the First Releases designation. The certification number is 4958369-118. The slab includes a decorative label with an image of the memorial and a security hologram on the reverse. This issue represents the first year the US Mint transitioned to .999 fine silver for proof coinage.
